More Information

The first step in applying for a grant from Cinereach is becoming familiar with the Priorities & Guidelines page. Deadlines and notification dates are listed here.

Once submissions are open for a given grant cycle, each applicant must register via Cinereach’s online application center and create a user profile. While logged in, applicants can draft, edit and submit online Letters of Inquiry (LOI), as well as review any online applications they have previously submitted to Cinereach. Applicants may submit one or more projects per cycle. Each project requires a separate LOI. Applicants will use the same user profile for all LOIs submitted in current and future cycles.

At midnight EST on each LOI deadline date, the LOI form closes. All sample work mailed to Cinereach must also be postmarked by the LOI deadline.

After the LOIs have been reviewed, Cinereach invites a selection of applicants to submit Full Proposals and provides instructions for doing so.

Following the completion of the Full Proposal review, the Cinereach grants committee meets to make final selections and assign award amounts.
