About the Film:
Skip Rocks is the story of a meaningful moment between a grandmother at the onset of Alzheimer’s and the 12-year-old granddaughter she wants to entrust with a precious memory from her own childhood.
About the Filmmakers:
Brendon McQueen graduated from Columbia University’s Film Program where he was Editor-In-Chief of the Columbia Observer and host/producer for Arts and Answers on WKCR 89.9FM. Skip Rocks was his short film directorial debut. Prior to living in New York, McQueen was an assistant on a number of Hollywood features for Happy Madison, etc. and served as executive intern to Sony’s President of Production. His first feature script is a recent Sundance Screenwriting Lab finalist. McQueen is currently writing his second script and developing a Television series for cable.
