About the Filmmakers:
Nancy Schwartzman is a filmmaker, writer and activist. Her first short documentary, The Line, explores sexual boundaries. The film has played throughout the United States and at film festivals in Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Taiwan, Toronto and more. Whereisyourline.org is a blog that grew from the film, where social media is the platform for dialogue. Nancy is the recipient of grants from the Fledgling Fund and the Playboy Foundation. She is a graduate of Columbia University.
Nancy’s Reach Film Fellowship mentor, Francisco Bello, was nominated for an Academy Award for the short nonfiction film Salim Baba. He recently produced and edited the documentary War Don Don, which won the Special Jury Prize at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival and for which he was awarded the first Karen Schmeer Award for Excellence in Documentary Editing.
